Kathy Manning Releases First General Election TV Ad: “Shouting”
Greensboro, NC — Business and community leader Kathy Manning released her first ad of the General Election titled “Shouting.” This 30-second ad focuses on Kathy’s commitment to be an independent voice for North Carolina families who will work with anyone to get things done for North Carolina, but will only answer to her constituents.
Like many North Carolinians, Kathy is frustrated with dysfunction, partisan in-fighting, and outsized special interest influence in Washington. In Shouting, Kathy highlights her pledge to not accept a dime of corporate PAC money, her support of term limits for party leaders, and calls for new leadership on both sides of the aisle, including pledging to not support Nancy Pelosi for another term as speaker.
“Washington is broken. There is too much partisan gridlock, corporate special interest influence, and politicians like Congressman Ted Budd who get elected and immediately put themselves up for sale,” said Kathy Manning. “I’m proud of this ad because it highlights a key theme of this campaign: I’m running to clean house in Washington. That’s why I’m not taking a dime of corporate PAC money, supporting term limits for party leaders, and calling for new leadership on both sides of the aisle. The only thing I will be beholden to in Congress are the people of North Carolina.”
